Year 5LG attend a Saxons and Vikings workshop
5LG stepped back in time during our Saxon and Viking workshop and became Historians. We shared our knowledge and extended our learning all about life as a Saxon and how Britain changed following the Viking invasion. Children were interested to hear and act out the saga of Beowulf and joined in eagerly with drama activities - including travelling in our makeshift Viking longship - to bring to life their understanding.
