Educational Visits

Year 1SD had a fantastic time at the Brampton Museum on Wednesday 8th May 2024. As part of our topic, "The Greatest People, " We submerged ourselves into the topic by meeting Florence Nightingale! We listened to an account of her life , looked at artefacts associated with this period in history and even helped to clean up the dirty hospital! Finally we had our photograph taken outside with a Russian cannon dating from 1840 that was captured from the Crimean war! It was an excellent workshop and the children were able to secure their learning and find out even more about this period in history.
