Educational Visits

At Brampton Museum we learned all about Florence Nightingale and why she was a significant individual of the past. We learned that she was a rich girl who wanted to become a nurse in order to help the soldiers in the war. She changed the way we view hospitals and women today! She cared for the soldiers and even opened her own nursing training school. Florence was also known as "Lady with the Lamp" and she helped get rid of the uncleanliness, dirtiness and rats in the hospitals!
