Year 5AG visit London
On Tuesday, Year 5 enjoyed visiting London for the day. Although the sun was extremely hot, we learnt and visited a lot of the most famous London attractions such as the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and 10 Downing Street. We learnt when the flag is lifted at Buckingham Palace, King Charles ||| was home and to our surprise he was! Today was also extremely lucky as Japan’s Emperor and Empress visited London today, so we saw lots of British and Japanese flags, whilst the Royal Guards set off cannons of gunpowder before we went on our Cruise on the Thames. We all enjoyed the day on the Tube, and enjoying the weather and had a well deserved sleep on the train home.
