Educational Visits

Year 1SG have had a wonderful time at Westport Lake! We were keen to get started on our hunt for some Bog Babies... we found 8 around the magical pond! Unlike Jane and Chrissy in the story, we left the Bog Babies in their happy homes by the pond. We also saw lots of fantastic wildlife like ducks, geese and even some swans with their signets. Year 1SG used their navigating skills to get us through the maze - we did reach a few dead ends! We had a magical time at Westport Lake and cannot wait to write about everything we could see, smell and hear for our setting description writing this week.
