Reception GC visit Hanley Museum
Today at Hanley Museum we looked at a real life spitfire aeroplane! This links to our History lesson as we are learning about transport from the past. We learned about Reginald Mitchell and how he was also born in Stoke-on-Trent, just like us! We also learned that the Spitfire weighs the same as a real life hippo! The spitfire is different to aeroplanes today because only the pilot can sit in it.
