Year 6CP visit to Longton Cenotaph
The children learned about the importance of remembrance and reflected on the courage and sacrifice of local soldiers. They read names on the memorial and discussed why remembering the past helps us value peace and freedom today.
The visit helped Year 6CP deepen their understanding of Remembrance Day and appreciate the significance it still holds for our community.
