Year 5LS visit Blist Hill
On Thursday 1st May, Year 5LS went back in time a visited a Victorian Town called Blist Hill. This linked to our ‘For the love of reading book – Street Child.’ All of the children really enjoyed the day and could not believe the way in which The Victorians had to live. Everybody visited the different Victorian shops, including The Bakery and The Pharmacy, however a particular favourite was The Sweet Shop. We also visited a Victorian Fun Fair. The children loved playing on the old rides and looking at games that they played in the past.
