Year 1SD visit the Brampton Museum

Our visit to the Brampton Museum on Tuesday 6th May 2025 gave the children a unique opportunity to step back in time and learn about one of history’s most inspiring figures—Florence Nightingale, also known as "The Lady with the Lamp." As part of a hands-on workshop, the children explored the life of Florence Nightingale and her pioneering work in nursing and hygiene during the Crimean War. They had the chance to bandage each other, clean a mock hospital ward, and understand the importance of cleanliness. This interactive session not only brought history to life but also helped the children to make meaningful connections to our topic of "The Greatest People". It was a memorable and educational experience for all!
