Educational Visits

On Wednesday 13th November 2024, Year 5LS went on a visit to York to learn all about The Vikings. When we arrived, we first had a walk around the city, to see how wonderful the city of York is. We started by taking a walk to York Minster, which is one of the biggest cathedrals in the country. We then for a walk down York's famous shopping street, ' The Shambles,' where we got to buy our own gifts from the shops.

After this, we visit The Jorvik Centre. Here we saw the remains of a real Viking home and got to take a ride into the past and experience what life would be like during The Viking time including smells from the time!
