Year 3EM visit Mary Arden's Farm
At Mary Arden’s Farm we dived into a world of Shakespeare. Mary Arden was Shakespeare’s Mum, it was fantastic to have a look round and take part in many activities that Shakespeare and Tudors once did. The children began their day by writing Shakespearean letters with a quill and ink immersing themselves into the life of Shakespeare’s. Children designed sweets out of sugar fondant in the hope to impress others at a dinner party! They played games which Tudor children would of played and much more! We had a wonderful day learning about life on a traditional Tudor Farm.
