Year 1's visit to Sudbury Hall Museum Hall of Childhood
On Wednesday 11th March and Friday 13th March Year One went to Sudbury Hall Museum of Childhood. The children had a brilliant day and loved looking at all the old toys from the past. We even sneaked in a quick visit to the old Victorian school room but luckily no one needed to get the cane! During our fabulous 'teddy bears' workshop we handled a special collection of teddy bears, learnt how the teddy bear got its name, when the first teddy was made and how we can tell if a teddy is old or new. We also looked at some famous bears through time and went on a bear hunt around the museum!
