Year one educational visit to Haversham House
On Monday 3rd February and Tuesday 4th February year one went to visit the residents at Haversham House care home.
The children really enjoyed talking to residents about what we have learnt during our history topic 'What was life like when our grandparents were children?' They were excited to show the residents their toys and to find out what toys they played with as children, but most importantly the children were eager to find out if any of the residents had ever received the cane at school!
