Year 6's visit to Tatton Hall

As part of the Year 6 World War two topic, we visited Tatton Hall.

This was such an amazing experience as the children were put straight into the role of Evacuees and the Farm staff took their role as their new families. The children made toast on an open fire, waxed horse saddles in the kit room, milked cows in the parlour, played board games (war time games) and had a general feel of the work that an evacuee could be expected to do.
