Leicester Space Centre Visit
In year 5 we visited Leicester Space Centre to learn more about our topic: Out of this World
During the day we explored various areas, each themed around a different aspect of our solar system, this included the Planetarium where we learnt about constellations, the rocket tower (home to a life sized rocket) and we piloted the Mars Rover! We answered questions throughout the day such as how much does a can of Coke weigh on each planet, you wouldn't believe how heavy that it could be!
